Services & Prices

Weddings

The 2010 price for our wedding service is £3,295 for a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday wedding. All other days are priced at £2,895.

This is an all inclusive price for the service, the elements of which are listed below.

Please note that we do not take commissions for part of the day.

  • Pre wedding and details shoot.1
  • Full wedding coverage From the getting ready stage to the first dance or fireworks.
  • All photographs that appear in the album, up to two hundred.6
  • All post production work.2
  • Album design and manufacture to include approximately 180 images.3
  • Two smaller (parents) albums.4
  • A audio visual presentation on DVD and disk of the images included in the album
  • A dedicated, password protected, viewing gallery so that friends and family may view and, if desired, purchase images. All images appear here, not just those selected for the album.
  • Heavily discounted Trash the Dress session.5
  • Heavily discounted Boudoir session.5
     

Portraiture

The 2010 price list for portrait photography is (only available on weekdays) £135 plus £22 per 10x12 print or £38 per 16x20 print. Other print sizes available including on canvas, prices on request.

Event Photography

Nicholas James photography will attend events for charity. There is no attendance fee for this service but it does have to be a registered charity. The cost of each photograph is set at £28 of which 50% will be passed onto the charity treasurer.

For Corporate events there are two options. 1. a one off fee of £500 plus £7 per attendee 2. an attendance fee of £100 plus each individual paying for their prints at £28 per print.


Boudoir and Trash the Dress sessions

The 2010 price list for "Boudoir" and "Trash the Dress" sessions is £199 plus £22 per 10x12 print or £38 per 16x20 print. Other print sizes available including on canvas, prices on request.


Additional costs

Weddings taking place over 150 miles from my studio will incur an additional fee of £90 to cover overnight accommodation.

Weddings abroad - travel and accommodation costs plus all reasonable expenses (airport transfers etc) (not to include food or beverages) will be charged at cost. The cost of which will be clearly stated and discussed prior to the event

Any location charges for portrait, TTD and Boudoir sessions will be charged at cost. Confirmation of cost are given prior to session. Please note that location costs are a rare occurrence.

 

Notes:

  1. Pre wedding, sometimes known as engagement sessions, is a chance to take some informal shots of the couple either at home, the studio or on location.
    A "details shoot" takes place at the brides home or studio using macro (close up) photography to record special items such as the dress, rings, shoes etc.
  2. Post production work is all of the photoshop editing work that is carried out after the event.
  3. Please see our albums page.
  4. As original album but about half the size.
  5. Persons having booked us to photograph their wedding - boudoir and trash the dress sessions are free, simply pay per print.
  6. We do not restrict ourselves on the number of images taken on the day. We then make a final selection (with the Bride and Groom) that appear in the album. All other images are available for purchase on the dedicated web gallery.
